I was around Bandar Puteri Puchong area and was searching for a proper place to meet up with a friend. It had to be cosy and quiet place as we needed to discuss some stuff. From Puteri Central there were no cafes, further up towards Puteri Mart also the Wings cafe was closed. Finally drove until we reached this place call Home Town Hainan Coffee at Bandar Puteri 2.
The first impression of the place was good. The ambiance of the cafe was good. The use of incandescent lights as indirect lighting warms up the place. Each table space is provided with an electrical outlet for charging devices. The American diner style sofa are also comfortable. Sitting down makes me want to pull out a book and read it.
The WiFi id and passwords are written on the order receipt. Accessing it was a breeze and speed was quite acceptable (didn't use Okla tool to measure it)
I didn't manage to do a full review of the food but the menu is quite similar to Paparich, lots of varieties of drinks, finger food and Malaysia favorites. The Hainan coffee was good, cucumber juice was a tad too sweet but really is a personal preference. Their kaya bread was well toasted and got a nice crunch to it.
Only complain I got was that their full height windows introduces lots of sunlight glare into the restaurant. It would help if the cafe installed some blinds outside to cut off the evening glare.
